Burger Joint New York - City Walk

My first restaurant to visit at CityWalk Dubai. I wonder how many of you actually know about the existence of citywalk, Dubai. CityWalk Dubai is located on the right of the first interchange, sheikh zayed road with the concept of shop and dine. There is a major expansion happening at Citywalk Dubai at this time. Many more restaurants to be coming this side. Its a nice place to stroll provided the climate is pleasant. I visited Burger Joint New York for lunch. It's difficult to notice this restaurant from the mainroad as it's located on the side of the building. Once you see shops like RIVOLI from the mainroad just park your car somewhere around that corner.

Burger Joint New York is famous for their freshly made hamburgers and all american ingredients that are used for their burgers even if they serve kms away from their home country. So the good part is you don't need to catch a plane to taste an all american burger you can just visit this restaurant and know it all ;) I wasn't surprised when I saw the interiors of Burger Joint New York. It just felt american all over. Dark walls with colorful writings on the wall, on the table. Their menus were handwritten in cardboard as you can see below. No two menus looked the same. Out of the two menus we got, one had more details than the other which I thought was not correct. But this is the simplest menu you could ask for. Limited selection of burgers, drinks and dessert. They make only a few but make sure they get it right. It's more like an Apple's motto.

Everything is almost imported from the US which includes their bun, their high grade angus beef, vegetables that would include Iceberg Lettuce, Beef Tomatoes, Jumbo Red Onions, New York Pickles, 2 types of Colby Cheddar cheese(white and aged).

It all started with their mind blowing milk shakes. We tried three of them:

1. Oreo milk shake


2. Berry pie shake


3. Apple Pie shake

It was the best thing to start with specially when you've just walked in from the hot sun. Each drink was as good as the other. The oreo milk shake was a thriller for me in the beginning out of the three but over time(by the time we reach the mid of our lunch) I felt like my apple pie shake was better. All three were good. They all came with hand whipped cream on on top. You need to definitely try one of their milkshakes if you are here. Their burgers are quite in small in size the shake is one way to fill you up :p

They've got soy based buns, which make them extra fluffy and very light and they do not feel heavy in the stomach. They say their patties are 100 % fresh, never frozen pure high grade angus beef from America which are butchered in-house and mixed with their ratio of 80 % meat, 20 % fat so that there is enough fat to keep the patties juicy. Nor do they add any salt or any other additive. We ordered burger with cheese, burger without cheese and one just cheese and works without any burger in it. Once you bite their beef you know it's of good quality. By the way they sell only beef so if you are in here expecting to order chicken or any other meat they don't have it for you. Their fries were tall and thin but Iam fan of thicker fries :(

Then came their dessert which is made in house by them. On my first bite I knew it was made from Hershey's chocolate and if you love Hershey's then you should love this more. The only issue for me at Burger Joint New York was that they served everything to you in paper plates and cups which is normally not my preference for a dine in otherwise it's could to come here and try their authentic burgers.
